You can already emulate the whole z architecture on a Linux PC: http://www.hercules-390.org./ It puts almost zero load on the PC, so, yeah, if you were insane enough you could probably do it in a browser.

"I'm absolutely certain there are red counties even in Oregon where the local government is more than happy to see a drug decriminalization program fail so people will go back to voting "the right way" (as someone else in this discussion so aptly put it)."
I don't have any actual, y'know, documented examples of this happening or of the actions they took to sabotage the program, but I'm certain!
"It may not be a case of Amsterdam vs New Amsterdam (I mean New York)"
Why they changed it I can't say.
If it's not part of the normal procedure, it should not only be documented, it should be documented in triplicate.
"This way to the egress."
You buy a safe made in the US, says so right there in the docs.
It has a *lock* made in China, but they don't tell you that.
I believe Satoshi Nakamoto is actually Alpharius.
Well, unfortunately, soon it came to be
Mr. Frump's dying day
And now I bring to you the very last thing
That Mr. Frump had to say...
'if you hand them whatever you can spare"
And that, right there, is why it's a luxury. Luxuries take whatever you can spare. Needs don't care if you can spare it or not.
A date that will live..not in your memory, apparently.
"They designed the engine, the warning systems, etc. And specified the maintenance schedule."
No, they really didn't do any of that. Pratt & Whitney or CFM International did.
Considering that the US has the more Tik Tok users than any other country, I bet they very much *will* care.
Correct. Tik Tok can say "Screw you, we're not selling." And the US government can say, "Fine. It is now illegal for you to operate in the US."
Every day I'm happier I'm just sticking with my 15-year-old Sony. Nice and stupid. It does broadcast reception and video inputs, and that's it, and that's all I want it to do.
A little Googling seems to me to indicate that they are simply talking about International Morse Code used by ships or to contact ships. Which makes the "last station" make some sense, since hams are generally talking to other hams, not ships.
It is easier to change the specification to fit the program than vice versa.
