What kills me is that people are going to eat that shit up. They don't realize that they hold a PC in their hand which just so happens to have a phone app. My first computer had an AMD k6-2 300mhz processor (I'm 22, see UID), and I was astounded when I realized my OG Droid had double the compute power. It only took a decade for that to go from being the latest and greatest to being in the palm of your hand being used for fart apps. Tegra games already rival the current-gen consoles in terms of graphics.

PCs aren't dead, they're better than they ever have been before.

In other news, Steve Jobs shits his grave knowing his precious screens are used to display black bars.

All this has happened before, and it will happen again.

Maybe so, but investigating is a lot easier when you have dirt to investigate.

I absolutely loathe Apple. But if they made their tech here in the states, I admit I would be one of the first in line to buy it.

Perhaps Valve could release their own distro with gaming in mind, as it might help unify the community. I could get behind that in a heartbeat.

I, for one, can't wait to buy a Droid Nexus Razr Maxx Bionic X HD 4G 2.

I got my first computer at the age of 8 when my disabled mother received her back pay. It had an AMD k6-2, 64mb ram, and a 6gb hard drive, which honestly wasn't too shabby for 1998. My first PC game was Independence War, a space sim which you could mod if you had some knowledge of coding. So I kind of picked it up, and playing video games led me to go to school now for Computer Science to learn how to make the damn things.

It's not all bad.

Easy fix. Reroute emergency power to inertial dampeners and the structural integrity field.
