Runing 20 tabs makes firefox run at snails pase and freeze everytime you click a button/tab. Just opening 5 links from google search will compleatly freeze firefox for ~20seconds
(I use firefox for it's live bookmarks function) (and yes 20 tabs run without problems in opera)

This mite be usefull in the developing world... The problem I see is... where would you find a salad spinner in the developing world, on second thought why would anyone in the developing world even need a salad spinner, wait, why would ANYONE need a salad spinner? I was a teenager just a few years ago. We started school at 7.30. I can tell you from personal experiance that i didn't learn anything until the main break at 10am. I basilcy slept until than. After 10am i was wide awake. Ask any teenager and they will agree. There have been a lot of studys and everybodys personal experianca that your clock changes when your a teenager, now it's time to start making adjustments to fit them, not force them into something just because the adults this it sould be like that.

For such basic use, the distro is not that important. I moved my parents from XP to debian with 1 ten minute tutorial. They are both over 55 and with minimal computer experiance. Then i moved them again to Ubuntu with even less problems. Since everything works the same it dosent really matter if it's at the top or at the bottom, the left or the right corner. Besides you can move the toolbars around. PS: Both my parents agree that Ubuntu is easyer to use than XP, they say it's easyer to lurn because it functions are more logicaly placed. My 2 cents.

I've been suffering from depression for a while now and I'm on antidepressants, and i have to agree that Internet addiction (or as in my case, adiction to chain watching movies/tv shows) is defenetly a side efect not the couse.
