Hanging up and calling back is something a woman would do. That's low-status. A real man is busy and get things done. He doesn't have time for charades.

By responding "No, of course not!" you are supplicating to the woman, making yourself seem like a less-attractive man. You need to take control of the frame and not let her dictate the conversation. Untrained people will most likely direct the conversation to boring subjects. You must stop that from happening if she is to like you.

Yes, I think I read a police report somewhere where "industrial capitalists" dragged you and your spouse, kicking and screaming, from your home and put you in "gigantic cube farms."

Oh, what's that? You actively sought out, negotiated, and continued employment at-will?

The only thing interesting about this post is how "cutting edge devices took over all the manual labor that dominated work at that time." What a pity it is that day laborers don't have to dig trenches anymore with shovels, but from the cushu seat of a Catepillar truck.

Yes, there are choices, and capitalism is the only moral system where people are free to choose. The system doesn't "let poor children die." People let poor children die.
"will have people working for MONEY their whole life" What a revolutionary idea — productive people get to exchange the fruits of their labor peacefully with other people! Clearly, that is nothing shoft of "evil, evil, evil,...". It is folly and a waste of time to even entertain those other options.

Real men are stalked and pursued by women who wouldn't mind not having a diamond; they just want a REAL MAN. Some women would demand things like diamonds when they sense that the man has less self-worth than the woman, and they exploit that insecurity. This "problem" never happens to real men who know how to handle women.

At first thought, i would also say that birth control and education are key. They are indeed important. But Africa is not poor in resources — it's poor in property rights and their enforcement. People don't invest in infrastructure over there because of poor property rights. Consider a farmer who builds irrigation for his field. When some guerrillas run through town or another dictator ascends to power, they may take his hard invesment in his land from him. Another thing is that people are resources: they can improve the land and produce goods. So birth control, in the current state of affairs, would help lots. But the most benefit would come from strong property rights in poor areas so people can invest in infrastructure and their land without fear of losing it through force.

Nothing in this world is free. There is a cost for everything. The good thing is that we found the cost of privacy breaches. The next step is to compare them to the cost of increasing current security. If it is found that the marginal benefit of having less breaches offsets the marginal cost of increasing security, then action should be taken to follow that course of action until we reach equilibrium.
Privacy costs money. It is not a value that should be pursued no matter the cost; rather, the costs should be weighed with the benefits, and a rational decision must be made based on the information available.
Second: one person buying an insurance policy from a company doesn't raise the premiums for everyone else; if anything, the premiums go down as the overhead fixed costs are spread between more clients. The cost of the insurance policy is determined statistically to cover the cost of the policy.
This is elementary.
