The proposal of a one-way tripe has been around for a long time. From what I have read, most, if not all people in the field that are qualified, would be willing to volunteer to go. And why not? You would be one of the first people to set foot on an alien world. You would be history. Movies would be made of your life. Ego aside, the experience would be amazing. You'd see things no other human ever has and discover things that could possible change the way humanity looks at itself. This would be one of the most epic journeys mankind has undertaken. Many qualified sane people would willingly volunteer to boldly go where no man has gone before.

I'll count my entire cell phone LED display as one, but I set the alarm on that and set it aside (it will shuff off soon). Then usually I'll finish up a little game on my DS before going to bed. That will have a blinking LED through the night.

LotR Generic you say? You mean like Epic Pooh? I'd reccomend some China Miéville for you. However, I would agree, high fantasy has become generic. My point is not to dimish what Agatha or even JRR, but to say it's okay to let the secert out now that its very predicable and to point out in this day and age, it's not much of a secret to be kept.

I've never seen the play nor plan to. So, I just read the Wikipedia article. The Wikipedia has a brief Synopsis of Act I & II and then a section titled 'Identity of the murderer'. My guess was correct after reading the breif synopsis. Really after the twist endings of The Usual Suspects, Palahnuik, and dare I say M. Night Shamwow, this is not a big shocker, and really it's very predicable.

Labeling this flamebait implies that he is insulting people by calling them gay. Thus everyone who has down-modded it sees the concept of being gay as something negative. Clearly this was meant as a joke and to take it as an insult means you are bringing your own beliefs about the negative connotation of being gay into the modding process.

Please mods leave your bigotry out of the modding process. People can be gay and still be normal people.

Girl Quits On Dry Erase Board a Hoax Screenshot-sm 147

suraj.sun writes "It's the same old story: young woman quits, uses dry erase board and series of pictures to let entire office know the boss is a sexist pig, exposes his love of playing FarmVille during work hours." Story seem too good to be true? It probably is, at least according to writer Peter Kafka. Even so, Jay Leno and Good Morning America have already reached out to "Jenny."

Just to be clear we are talking about WWII Era England. I do believe in the US most people who are spiritual would not find this to be an conflict of beliefs. Also, keep in mind many spiritual people are not members of the Westboro Baptist Church as much as anyone who believes in science is not a Scientologist.

A lot of us don't find science and spiritualism any where more mutually exclusive than food and sex. Keep in mind that many people who are spiritual/religious are not hardline Christians (or even Christians).
