It must be Democrats posing as Republicans looking for bamboo fibers in the Arizona mail-in ballots to continue all this crazy-talk about the stolen election and prevent the Republicans from talking about issues like they really want. All Trump wants to do is concede the election to Democrats so we can move on and talk about other things, but the Democrats won't let him concede gracefully, in deference to the Constitution.

There are many liberals who believe that all establishment GOP are perfectly willing to invalidate the voting system of the United States, to convince people that a fair election is impossible and thus the Constitution is unworkable, in order to remain in power. The majority of elected GOP politicians seem to prove that out, except for Liz Cheney, who is willing to call out the lie that Trump actually won the election. This is very surprising to many liberals, who always suspected her of being a fascist and perfectly willing to dump the idea of free and fair elections.

And there are millions of people who will ignore whatever evidence you place before them. They will simply believe what they want to believe, objective reality be damned.

Before we identify facts, we first must come to the consensus that there exists an independent objective reality. And right there we already run into trouble.

As a nerd myself I have to admit my first thought was of the practicality of the suggestion and how it would be implemented. I knew it wasn't serious but my mind still went there. Know your audience.

Now, Ukraine would really like to be a part of NATO and we haven't been pushing as hard for that as we could, since it's a big mess anyway, but with our crucial infrastructure under attack, we are absolutely going to have to play hardball here. We're talking like, Crimea is on the table. You know Crimea, the dangling scrotum of Russia? Soft and exposed, just hanging out there? So, how about you get some of your tough guys to talk to these Dark Side punks and make sure they behave."

I think the worry is what Trump will do if they let him back on. He continues spreading the Big Lie, which may encourage more insurrections. While this might not lead to legal culpability for Facebook, there is the problem of ethical culpability.

It's hard to fault a private company from wanting to avoid culpability in the overthrow of a democratic government. And if you believe that Biden is the one who overthrew American democracy by somehow cheating in massive and brilliantly hidden election fraud, you are simply wrong.
