That's interesting to know. I am in the states and only watch BBC news as a well put together half hour news show. I guess it has to do with 24 hours news shows/stations. Its great if there is some enormous tragedy I guess but when things are calm it must be a complete bitch to find things to talk about. War is profitable is true on way too many levels. :/

Sometimes (most of the time?) news outlets are more about the entertainment value than the informative value of a story.

This is unfortunately the case because of ratings. They just need eyeballs and could care less about accuracy. They are not held to any standard nor are they punished for reporting false information so they will continue to spout whatever they want for the money.

Mine is just to be dumped somewhere to be food for something. The ocean unless that is too messy. I am done with the meat so some other creature might as well benefit from it. (organs were already to be donated.)

I only worry this will catch on and we will have more bodies than the algae/brine/etc can handle. o.O

"simply because of his selfishness" shows what a complete lack of understanding of nicotine addiction you have.

Shows what a complete lack of compassion for anyone else other than you that you have. I was a smoker for 20 years and I tried my damned hardest to not smoke near anyone. It was my addiction and I dealt with it alone. I was so happy when I finally quit a few years ago but now I think I might start back up just to blow it in your face.

Only a few percent at top would probably be aware of the existence thereof.

I am familiar with rc.d on linux but this comment made me look on my OSX box and there is no rc.d. So I think you can change that comment from NOT F*CKING MANY to NONE.

(I was honestly curious if OSX had rc.d. There is something similar but not at all like the *nix version. Just leftovers from BSD I imagine.)
