The targeting isn't supposed to benefit you, or cater to your interests. It's supposed to show you something a person like you might buy, based on your profile. If you buy lots of skiing gear, you might get a car ad for a model that their surveys show that lots of skiers like.
You insensitive clod.
"This is just a slap on the wrist, doesn't bother us a bit, we'll keep doing the same thing, we make much more money tracking people than you can fine us."
The point isn't whether or not the cars have killed somebody, it's about disrupting traffic and hampering emergency services.
The residents of San Francisco, as well as first responders, bus drivers, etc., are being plagued with an experimental technology that's clogging their streets and endangering people. Not just the residents, but the City government, fire department, etc. are adamantly against this. Unfortunately, the tech corporations appear to have bought out the state government, which is where the decision will be made. I applaud any grass roots effort to harass these corporations. Simply putting a cone on top of the hood doesn't injure anybody, doesn't destroy any property, but it does send a loud and clear message.
"Act their nature?" Is that racist or what?
Yes, but this doesn't require a case by case warrant. And anyway, just because it's been done in the past doesn't make it right. Warrantless surveillance is fascism.
The FCC already did the testing to prove 5G was safe, but the airlines freaked out and the FAA backed them up. It turned out to be a pissing match between federal agencies, and the FAA was clearly in the wrong. But they felt they had to look vigilant after the 737Max fiasco.
Moral of the story: the FAA is still messed up.
How much are they gonna charge for it?
Audio semipro here. Never owned a Blue mic, but my understanding from reviews and articles was that they were basically prosumer. A bit too bright, lots of "character," but lacking the clean, wide-range, warm sound of a Neumann or similar.
I like a little meat on their bones.
This is extremely vague sourcing. I don't doubt that American spooks have no regards for civil rights or privacy, and are using every trick in the book whether it's legal or not. But this article has a strong odor of clickbait.
Streaming video and games. Hey, the damn car can drive itself, amirite?
"This is particularly true given the Commission's active regulatory and enforcement agenda in this area..." If you haven't made the rules yet, I would think there would be nothing to enforce.
