Software just needs to stop providing a save/open file dialog with an open ended system they have to remember to use, and instead just use a project and title oriented one across the board for non-multimedia stuff.

Just stop providing an open system, for your users... Meanwhile, internally what file (in what directory) will your software be using for itself to save/open all the project and title oriented content?

You are replying in Junta's 'let the application vendor own your data and arbitrate any and all access to it' complaint thread and just moving your mouth, contributing nothing but yapping bizarrely about how "alternative" removing features and user autonomy can be.

Making Location the *only* way to run full background tasks on iOS in 2021 is willfully contributing to a culture of insensitivity toward location security.

Same. AOSP on my daily android telephone, no Play store or Google services. Heavy mapping done non-google via OsmAnd~ off the f-droid store. Offline North America, Asia-Pacific & Europe maps loaded. Good topo maps. Walking, bike & car navigation routing.

A bit less polish, sure, but honestly seems like a more powerful mapping tool. And for the odd, one-off occasion I want Streetview, or Google navigation routes... opening an incognito browser tab is dead-simple.

Did you notice that four officers can kill someone without strangulation?

The national police lobby saw the part you plainly miss -- that contributed directly to Floyd's death, the officers not do their job, and rendering them entirely suspicious in his death.

If people are wearing regular old cloth bandanas or t-shirts or whatnot as their masks, and they've worn them long enough without washing them? Are they still really doing any good as far as preventing the spread of germs to other people? I would think that as a piece of cloth gets saturated with the virus particles, it stops being a useful barrier.

Even a wet washcloth can be a major barrier to spewing droplets at a distance. (Video) see @ 24s: https://videos-fms.jwpsrv.com/...

Great point Vihai! To stay hygenic keep >6ft apart when peeing on the floor & self isolate until your pee dries (stay socially distant, from other puddles of drying pee).

If you need to carry out something essential in close contact with others while you are peeing, better put on some pants & go wash up with soap when your activity is finished. You genius, we should get the governor to write this shit down & tell folks!

No, you haveat least three options:

- Do affiliate sales with truely anonymous sessions, that have no personal data.
- Make your non-optional consent wall capture clear, positive consent above the bar of a non-optional click-through ("Please log in to permit processing of your personal data, or type your name & sign and date to authorize personal data processing as a guest [click here for more info]", etc.)

The EDPB guidance states clearly what is not an acceptable system for personal data processing consent.
