Isn't McDonald's hidden value in all of the real estate it holds?
I had a Zenphone 2 Laser... great, except for the slow-ass camera. Due to lineageOS dropping support and worsening battery I got the OnePlus 5T. A few years old, but very snappy camera, great lineageOS port.
Actually it's already in place.. https://lemmy.ca/ (or other instances, but this one happens to be hosted in Canada).
There are a ton of regional communities on there, from nationwide to provincial to municipal feeds. The fire coverage has been really good there.
There are nice Android and iOS clients as well, making it as easy to use as FB or reddit. (I like Jerboa, myself, on Android).
Why would they choose anything less than the maximum keysize if there's a larger one available, and the performance penalty would be undetectable by end users? Attacks only get better over time.
Just saying. Oldtimers may recall questions as to why 3DES used 56 bits as opposed to 64 bits back in the day; was it to make it 'hard' (for 'other' spooks) but not 'too hard' for the 5-eyes spooks?
Free TVs for everyone, even the Blanks in the outer zones!
Brought to you in part by ZikZak Corp.
With no off swirch of course, And you get the chair if you illegally add one.
Not that the Canadian market here is big enough for them to really care, money-wise... it's just a precedent they are afraid of. Between this and reddit's self-destruction this weekend, it could be a great summer for the Internet!
What absolute nonsense you're spewing. A cure is a cure.
Go learn the meaning of the word 'palliative'
This type of research *is* banned and regulated in the US
But not in China
Which is why the US work was moved to the Chinese lab
It doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together
So Japan now has asshole teenagers like the West, thinks to social media
Yay!
Oh goody, another show that they're going to cancel after 1 season
GitHub and OpenAI have offered shifting accounts of the source and amount of the code or other data used to train and operate Copilot. They have also offered shifting justifications for why a commercial AI product like Copilot should be exempt from these license requirements, often citing "fair use."
It is not fair, permitted, or justified. On the contrary, Copilot's goal is to replace a huge swath of open source by taking it and keeping it inside a GitHub-controlled paywall. It violates the licenses that open-source programmers chose and monetizes their code despite GitHub's pledge never to do so.
I'm sorry your dad is an idiot who doesn't remember or record passwords
This is not Apple's fault, but it's always easier to externalise and blame our failings upon others
Amazed to find I couldn't find it on a simple search on archive.org. Well, since it's now PD, have at it! Yarrrr.

Human perception of key strikes to audio feedback is AFAIK on the order of &10ms. The very idea of a performance instrument or DAW, based in the browser, with the many layers of bloated libraries between it and the UART that ultimately must drive a MIDI interface, is laughable.
Musical performance depends on realtime response to input and realtime output of that input.
Not. Gonna. Happen. With. A. Browser. In. The. Mix.
Fast, cheap, good: pick two.
