Fortunately, the movie has far, far more going on than plot and character development. the world of Pandora is a wonderous place, and the movie puts you there. It's truly inventive and interesting, and I can't really say that about many movies these days. It has incredible atmosphere and, yes, even craft. It's an extremely well done movie for what it sets out to do.

This is the kind of thing I'd bring my little brother to watch. Hell, I'd say that a more complicated and convoluted plot is the last thing Avatar needed, considering its main objective - a fun piece of entertainment that takes you away from our world and into another.

I know of only two keyboard shortcuts in Emacs, and Org mode is completely useable for me. You should try it for yoruself instead of making assumptions. It really is quite good.

I've downloaded well over 50 (probably several hundred over the past three years), and half of those I never even used. A quarter I fiddled with in a VM for fifteen minutes. I've only used Ubuntu 8.04, 9.04, and Fedora 12 for any length of time worth documenting (a year, a year, several months, respectively). So my ratio's pretty low.

Same here. If multiple ISO distros count (CentOS came on six CDs and I used every single one before I got a DVd drive) then we're talking hundreds.

I fully agree. Maybe the author should tell us what software they are using in their organization so that we can give them some specific options in this vein.

Go try OpenSolaris on a LiveCD. It is worth your time, just to check the new stuff out. ZFS is very awesome indeed.
