I can't remember the name of it, but I read about an island somewhere off the coast of Africa. It's a giant chunk of rock that's split in such a way that its eventual collapse into the ocean is near certain. When it happens, the amount of water suddenly displaced could potentially cause a tsunami that we here on the East coast would definitely notice.

The entire website was blocked by NoScript. I allowed it, and within 30 seconds changed my mind and blocked it again. That website is atrocious.

I really wish that I had mod points for the parent here. Having been on a FIRST team myself, I cannot possibly overestimate the value of everything I learned and experienced there. The organization not only teaches students how to use science and technology, but also makes it extremely enjoyable.

The article goes on an extensive analogy about DRM equaling Door Locks, and it completely misses the point. Yes, DRm prevents the majority of hackers from being able to do anything to the actual, hard copy of the game. This is worthless, though. All it take is for one person to break through the protection and upload it to a torrent site, and then everybody with internet access can have the game for free. It does not matter that most people couldn't break the encryption themselves. They don't need to, because somebody else already has.

EA doing something intelligent? Something that is appreciated by users? No... It can't possibly be true.
