At work in the early 90s, navy dockyard, one day I could hear a rattling sound at regular intervals. It was the metal siding on the building as far as I could determine, but why? Then I noticed a search radar rotating, and the rattling noise happened every time it was pointing at us. A call was made, the reply was that they weren't transmitting. The rattling stopped right away though. Weren't transmitting my ass.

Good for you. My phone is the first USB-C device I owned. Fortunately I don't buy Apple products, and my phone came with a charger. (Though many companies like to copy Apple, good or bad.) How much did Apple reduce the price when they stopped including chargers?

I used Win2000 and didn't want XP back in the day. I think it was up to SP2 when I got it. I remember some article about how to make W2k look like XP. I couldn't wait to make XP look like Win2k.

On W8.1 now (8.0 was awful, 8.1 with Open Shell isn't really that bad).

Used Win7 at work, never really liked it. Wife's laptop has W10 and I hate using it.

I play UT99 on a regular basis. Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, but I get plenty of fun out of it, and it loads super fast.
