Should be able to pass with minimal study? The structural PE exam was an 8 hour exam with 8 lengthy, complicated problems. Prep for it involved studying 20-30 hours a week for 3-4 months on top of my day job designing bridges. The registration exams for licensed professions are not jokes.

One of the most common and widely-sold USB devices were speakers. You could waste your limited USB 1.1 bandwidth by plugging in a speaker instead of just using the audio-out jack of your sound card. Almost every device would claim it wouldn't work right if you used a hub, so unless you were lucky and had ones that did, you used up the two (or four, lucky you!) ports of your system quickly. Windows had support from vendors but Linux was hit-or-miss. Things may have turned out well enough, but it was a far rockier start than the idealistic image portrayed here.

From what I've seen out the window, it looks like they don't even load connecting flight luggage until the passenger has had their boarding pass scanned at the gate.
