Comment Re:Were you stoned when you wrote this,or just stu (Score 1) 447

Can't measure psychosomatic stuff man Have you ever tried homeopathics and/or do you have any health problems? I'm all messed up man and this stuff gets me better, got a ton of stuff that they can't diagnose via regular doctors. Ever lived with toxic mold to see what it does to you?

Comment I use homeopathics regularly, they do work. (Score 1, Troll) 447

I have used it for a variety of ailments. The one that has brought me most benefit is histaminicum which lowers my histamines levels in my body when I use it. I am allergic to dairy and when I eat it, I get a histamine reaction. I just take this homeopathic and it goes away within a few minutes (this allergic reaction). I get allergic reactions such as ringing ears, anxiety, etc. and it goes away with just a few granules. I don't think this is something you can measure that much with science though. The second one that I have used to great benefit is cannibus indica homeopathic which I use when I get too stoned and can't handle it. It sobers me up pretty fast and kind of neutralizes my high. How would you measure this with science? Another one that has been amazing for me is juniperus communis which is a juniper root homeopathic. It helps your liver detox and I use it when I drink coffee or alcohol, neutralizes some of the bad effects of these drugs. How would you measure that? I also use a variety of them that help me sleep, works not as good as the others because I have chronic insomnia...results vary lol.

Very important information, of course myspace will never "announce" to the users that they are doing this. It'd be nice if they notified people in changes as significant as this one.

Comment Another meteor crater (Score 1) 96

Here's another location of a crater in Mexico: do a search for "ciudad de carmen." The caves that exist in this area were formed from a meteor impact, and the caves exist along the edge of the impact. It creates a ring formation in the area, and it was also only recently discovered. Half of the crater is in the water, the other half of the crater is on land. Also, very close to this area, people theorize that the "gulf of mexico" was an impact crater that might've caused the dinosaurs to die. The yucatan peninsula sure has an odd shape, and in the water, it almost forms a circle around the gulf of mexico. The BBC series "earth: the biography" examines meteor impacts and craters that exist on the planet. It was a great natural science series, and it was very fun to watch.

Darkfall Set For Launch 80

Darkfall, a PvP-oriented MMORPG that was first announced in 2001, is finally in the process of going live. After dealing with some launch-day bugs, the Darkfall team reports that servers are going up, and they're processing pre-orders to get players in the game. MMOCrunch has an in-depth write-up from the end of the beta, saying that the game is still "rough around the edges," but also that the team has created a "solid framework of an MMO that offers a unique experience that the genre has not seen in quite some time." Ten Ton Hammer had a similar reaction, tempering criticism with praise for the lack of hand-holding.

Submission + - 2008 UFO footage: The most amazing footage yet! (news.com.au)

Tracer221 writes: Hello Slashdot folks, I watch a TON of UFO documentaries and footage, both new and old, to gain insights about the phenomena and to learn more about our other-worldy neighbors. It is interesting how much footage exists, how many people have been experienced the phenomena, and how many of these sightings are very similar. Typically, with old-skool 1980's and 1990's cameras, the quality is very poor and grainy. Even now, with the leading technology, there have been few instances of nice high resolution UFO imagery. Now I admit, at times this footage can look a little grainy; but it steals the show on its authenticy and amount of film. Yalcin Yalman captures video footage over a period of months in a town in Turkey...and it is amazing what is revealed. I'd describe this footage as "the most important UFO images ever caught on camera." Take a look and let us know what you think, he captures UFO's flying around on film at different times of the day, different days of the week.
