Oh, by the way, the people we displaced from power are Islamic Extremists, who deny basic education to women, recruit children into their armies, and are all around bad guys.
How are American public schools doing at educating girls or boys? Does the US military still recruit in the public schools?
Licenses to drive try to ensure that everyone has a minimum skill set before getting behind the wheel and potentially killing others. That program takes a lot of manpower and resources. The licenses by comparison are really not that much.
My wife just renewed her license in Kansas. There is currently no driving test, no written test, no eye exam, nothing. You just pay $20 and get your picture taken. No driving skills required.
Because they signed on the dotted line to uphold and defend the Constitution, they lose part of their free speech.
That may be the case, but it is comical that they are supposedly denied constitutional rights in order to preserve them. It's like perpetual war for peace, or as George Carlin would say, screwing for virginity.
The point is not if the wiring is done according to code or passes inspection. It is if the wiring is done correctly. I built my current house, and I can tell you that the inspections are not exhaustive and the inspector will attempt to fail you for something, even if it is trivial, on the first inspection. I always passed the second inspection. I failed my first electrical inspection and had to move a can light 12 inches to allow clearance of 12 inches below it in a closet. The inspector did not look at the breaker box or the breaker ratings or even that I used the correct gauge wire for circuits.
It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
