I've been playing on Linux since it came out. Apart setting the shaders "low" (which is beneficial for multiplayer) never had any issue at all.
Cheers!
I guess you won't be explaining the cache line size issue and memory alignment too, right?:-)
As I said, thumbs up at least for the effort!
Cheers!
Ps. Questions for Java experts, how does the JVM (the best implementation btw) deal with cache line size and memory alignment issues? Is there any optimization in this area?
I've written kernel code in both OpenGL (GPGPU old school)/OpenCL.
Main issue might be context switching? Or writing GPU binary code without having to compile via driver (i.e. a la math accelerator FPU?)
Cheers!
They sell hardware and software, I'm all about free choice for people, if you want to let them collect data and eventually blackmail you, well if you like it just let them do it.
But in this case the fact they don't tells the pigs they do makes me smell about fascism.
This is only the beginning!
Hehahhehahe this is why I really don't like Apple products... my GF just bought and iPhone 4 and in order to use it she had to activate with iTunes... WTF?!?!
Does this seems logical? Why? Just because they want to sell songs/books/movies with their online store? WTF I just want a phone!!!
Lol @ iPhone users...
I not Iran u have to worry for...Apple itself might use it to blackmail and/or intimidate you...
Knowing exactly where and when you are is a good start to track a person in his private life...think that they might get your emails passwords, your bank account with the iPry app and BOOM!, you're just a pawn in their hands.
Just sad...
I guess the feeling of relief when a match is won and "I don't want to do that again" are very common to eSports then... if Blizzard wanted to make an eSport then they've centered the target 100%.
Cheers,
_fun_ and balanced are very hard to get... one would say they've been so good at doing it that now who wins is who has best build order...using external softwares to compute it btw:P
Or the opposite... Lol
That is one of the major issue. Given the less variety of game (differently form WC3 you don't have heroes which can result in a determinant fight as something that might decide it) getting the perfect BO has become matter of genetic algorithms... I'm not joking... this is so sad...
...with friends.
Me and my friends have actually fun, we're ranked gold/silver in 2v2, 3v3; the main issue with SC2 is that is not as varied as WC3 or SC, SC:BW so you end up winning or losing just because of 10 seconds or sometimes bad luck.
On top of that there's people who use genetic algorithms to improve their build... where's the skill here?
