very nice of you to ignore everything that is insignificant and tell them to drop dead when they want to replace the failing HDD in their antique system. Maybe you don't realize but not only PC's use HDDs. There's hardware out there running on obscure firmware and custom chips which cannot be simply replaced by a new box and a OS upgrade.

It calculates nothing. It's just a guess based on previous observations. it takes a few initial conditions into concideration and then pulls a trajectory from memory, during the flight it does this over and over again to correct for the errors it made in its guess.

There is also Digital Mars D which is designed to fill the gap between C++ and Java. And there is also C#. I don't think the purpose of Go is to be something like that, it looks more like a scripting language with static typing.

In some cases that may be true, eg when zooming in on a ship you hear the humming engines and then the next shot shows the interior.

In other cases it fails. For example, the in space positioned camera picks up the sound of a spaceship wooshing by, complete with doppler effect. That is NOT narrative; by using doppler effect they clearly try to convince you that you the viewer are outside in space, but then it fails because you wouldn't hear anything. It's like those kung-fu movies where you hear sound effects at every arm swing.
