I tend to inject random noise into any surveys I answer, so the average of all answers is "I don't exist". Flood any system with enough garbage and you render the entire system mostly useless.

Isn't one of the core properties of the internet that it is built to be indestructible? So, yeah, Egypt has only a few lines going into the country and they can cut those off, but I doubt they've even managed to totally shut down their own internet completely... and they're a dictatorship.

Actually, a friend of mine who is a HAM operator has been doing so from before 2400 buad modems were around. I believe there is still a HAM based BBS system up and running. So, yeah, HAM porn.

The problem is that they filter "breast" on what they think might be offensive to us.

For every IQ point my computer picks up, the line dividing "Your life is AWESOME" and "Your life is HELL" moves up a notch. Eventually there will be very few if any people above the line. I would hope by that point we will have come up with a new way of doing economics... otherwise, I guess we just try eat the rich through a wall of killer robots.

Not to mention that a large part of the value of a âoerealâ thing is its potential rarity. A girl with pretty eyes might be one in a million and therefore looking into those eyes has a substantial emotional value. An avatar with pretty eyes is as common as a copy command and therefore has almost no intrinsic value since your copy is no better than that person's over there.
