They could try maybe, I don't know, not automatically printing an AI answer on every web search where 99% of the time the person doesn't want and doesn't read the AI answer (which most of the time is "I don't understand what you're saying because you typed a search term not a question")? That should save some costs. It'd also improve the user experience considerably, since Bing results pages now suddenly change in size after you open them and the links you want move out of your reach.

That's more than my average driving, I don't have a garage, and I live in sunny California. And since I live in an apartment with no home charging options, solar charging would be a huge selling point to me in an electric car. But since people like me only buy used, perhaps aftermarket solar add-ons would be more successful (eventually, once used EV sales are plentiful)..

Isn't charging from a generic battery with a generic plug going to be extremely slow, as in too slow to be useful unless you're stopping overnight? And if the extender battery were capable of discharging fast to the main battery, wouldn't that make it potentially dangerous?

You could use the old battery swapping stations idea, but modified so that they move your regular battery to your trunk when they swap in your temporary rental range extension battery. That would at least solve the issue of worrying about exchanging your extremely valuable battery for a random one that might have a shorter remaining lifespan.

A lot of people live in a family that owns multiple cars. If you have 2 cars, and you don't take road trip vacations separate from your spouse, then it should usually make sense to have one of your cars be a low range electric. If you both work then you'll still have one of you commuting in the gas guzzler, but it's better than both of you doing that.

What century are you living in? 21 US states are sanely-districted by a non-partisan or bi-partisan entity, while 29 US states still choose an unethical process where the winning party ignores the needs of the people in order to focus on their own job security and blocking the losing party from being able to participate in a fair democratic process in the future.

If Twitter has just laid off most of their staff and your company based a few miles away is building a Twitter competitor, of course you're going to try to hire lots of ex-Twitter employees and of course the employees will want to apply there. That's not evidence of wrongdoing, it's just evidence that Twitter wants to try to use NDAs as if they were non-compete agreements.

The notion that Twitter has any trade secrets worth anything in the first place is pretty hard to buy. It's not particularly innovative software, and if the advertising side was full of secrets then they sure weren't paying off. The "secret" of Twitter's success was being the platform where everybody else was already present thanks to some shrewd moves nearly 20 years ago.

Plus glass costs more so people are less likely to toss it away. Personally I'm still regularly reusing a "single use" plastic coke bottle from 2013, but since it's only worth a few cents a lot of people will just toss it.
