What they will do is snoop your connection for when you input the password. Https connection? They will have the cert keys already.

You might as well be using open to send the password.

Unless you are uploading locally encrypted files to the cloud (for convenience I suppose) and never sharing keys except in person you should be fine.

Until they kick your door in that is.

Both Zynga and Facebook are doomed and clueless.

Social media is not multi generational. Sites become unfashionable.

Already young kids shun facebook and it's only a matter of time before facebook morphs into a 50's and over dating site.

The problem with getting unpopular is huge swaths of users are effectively dead ends for active users, so just like myspace you can message 50 people and get 2 replies.

Any social media site should be seen as having a maturity point, and a falloff to where it must morph into something else, like a dating site for whatever generation still uses it.

I was just at liquidations for three schools where they tried this. Somehow they think that throwing high technology at bad students will somehow transform them into good students. The reality is three schools failed to perform, even with millions of dollars in apple miracle products. These children have a poor home structure, poor social structure that frowns on those who are smart as "acting white", a culture they idolizes those who chase quick money and material goods, and no penalties for parents who barely raise their kids. This too will fail, as technology is NOT a substitute for good parenting.

Casual hardware users don't care what OS is on a device, it just has to be the "in" device of the year.

Microsoft is slowly alienating the users who keep it alive, until it become irrelevant and so
similar to the competition all it will have to fall back on is features and innovation, which it is no longer
a leader in.

I've never seen a company so eager to destroy their own user base though forced , unwanted, change.
