So OS X can only be installed on Apple-branded hardware? What's Apple-branded hardware? Hardware with the Apple logo on it?
Every copy of OS X comes with about four stickers with the Apple logo. Take one, slap it on your PC and enjoy.
Problem solved.
Because you never paid for any software. You paid for a license to run the software. The company you bought the software from still owns it. Their software, their rules.
You can sell a license to read your book just as easily, or at least try to. Good luck with that.
Two problems with laws written in 6th grade English:
I don't know what you can do about the former. People who want to be ignorant, will be ignorant.
For the latter, you could have translations in their native language. Hope you get it right. Case in point, one of the ten commandments is "Thou shalt not kill". Actually, it was translated wrong all those years ago. The original writing is "Thou shalt not murder". Quite a difference, dontcha think. The former literally says I can't take the life even of a mosquito for any reason, whether my life is in danger, or not. The latter says I can't intentionally plan and take the life of anyone; swatting a fly doesn't count.
What would that spending have gone towards if it hadn't been directed at grown men playing children's games?
Grown women play them, too, you sexist pig.
I say "Good" to the Olympics not coming to the US, we don't deserve them. Maybe our political system can be fixed, but until then let the camps on either side of the aisle drool in hunger as the big ticket items of the world go elsewhere.
If political systems had anything to do with it, they never would have been held in China, Russia, Yugoslavia or Nazi Germany.
The other interesting point worth noting is that the 32-bit upgrade is faster on a clean install than a 64-bit upgrade,
Is this an upgrade or a clean install? Which is it?
To that end, good software is good software no matter the development methodology, license, etc. I would hope that one of the hallmarks of open development includes an open mind.
Does that mean that one of the hallmarks of closed development, or closed source, is having a closed mind?
