In several cases, I have been billed incorrectly with a human running the cash register. I have also arrived at home missing a bag or items because the bag boy didn't put the bag in my cart. I would venture to guess this system will be more accurate than a human checkout. However, unless it means less work for me, I'll be expecting a discount.

You can't take it there. Facebook, for all it's faults, would never create something that is overtly racist. It simply wouldn't be good for business. The fact that you want to compare what their algorithm comes up with to some "racist fucks" screams cancel culture. If this sort of thought continues, half the dictionary will be stricken because some assholes used the words inappropriately.

I am not surprised since the same thing has been happening in our own country. It's not as brutal as the Taliban but certainly people have been targeted for their beliefs and social media posts. When someone with nefarious motives can find your entire life's history in a computer database, along with a way to find you based on biometrics whenever they want, there is no escaping. We set those poor folks up and left them there to fend for themselves under a violent regime that is sure to enact retribution.

Government entities use any means of communication that does not leave a trail for someone to follow. Computers are inherently bad for government folks who don't want to be transparent. It's not that they don't want to use computers, they can't if they want to protect themselves from saying pretty much anything that isn't sanitized by some communications team.

In my area, our electric coop applied for and received some of the original rural broadband cash. They built fiber to each home in their area and their service is the best I have had. My point? Start targeting rural electric coops for this sort of thing rather than trying to work with huge telecoms that will never reach some of the homes in rural areas simply because getting right-of-way permissions can be challenging.

There is nothing fraudulent about it. It's free market advertising at it's finest. Read and understand about what you want to buy and recognize what the cost differences mean for the different tiers. I know it's tough for "normal countries" to understand, since their high taxes are probably underpinning the industry, but in the US, this is how it works.
