But seriously, if you can tell from Google Earth what the target is, then you already know enough about it to be able to determine whether or not it would make a good target.

And while we're at it, statistics show that 98% of all rapes are performed with a penis, so merely by eliminating penises, we can eliminate 98% of rapes! Ban them immediately! Think of the children, women, and particularly wimpy men! Take away these "assault penises", the weapon of choice of rapists everywhere! And especially the sawed-off versions, which are easily concealed in one's clothing! Sorry, I got a little carried away there...

Why Yes, Ma'am in fact I do Have a permit for this here weapon....

How many of these new users actually even know they are new users ?

I bet the majority of them are idiots who just click on the apple update for their itunes/ipod and done even realise Apple are basicaslly pushing crap onto their PCs that they done even know or want.

It was a fair question I was thinking the same thing, after a few rounds with the virus that is apple update, installed safari on a couple of my computers after being told explicitly not to install.

I'm a avid Firefox user, much like the Netscape of old, it just works, and I can tweak it with addon's to be what I want it to be. However as an iPhone owner, I get shafted with no choice.

T-Mobile is a such joke here in Cleveland since you can't get reception on a T-Mobile phone inside of the T-Mobile store.

Something I should of checked before getting one, canned it and got the iPhone, I have a a AT&T signal 99% of the time 3G is a joke, and no signal in my apartment building. Face it Verizon their not.

While I may not like Verizon as a company, Having had to use my cell in 48 states, they have the closest to complete coverage.

Because Much like the music industry the single person(s) backing up legally bought games, is who they go after. Or some 13 y/o that downloaded GTA4 because mommy and daddy said no.

Personally I cant ever recall seeing in the paper, a story about a Mob or group of counterfeiters that is being sued for copying games and selling them.

I for one would like a refund for every single copy of a game or music that has ever been destroyed because I was made unable to make a backup of my legal copy.

Don't get me wrong I know full well that "Some" people pirate games for personal use. Typically these are the same people that would of never of paid cash for the game in the first place. So damages are kind of a joke.

When Microsoft bans, say, people from writing "I am black" in their profile because it might start a fight with skinheads or "I am an evolutionary biologist" because it might start a fight with creationists is the day I'll consider this position toward gays and lesbians even remotely fair.

Yes BUT, I've never heard some 13y/o use "Evolutionary Biologist" over Live's VoIP when yelling at me for Fragging them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but to get to the point of making a profile on the Micro$oft server, how many Term of Service, or End User Agreements have to be crossed? Not that said 13 y/o can legally agree to the Mico$oft BS but still you get my point.

The Art of The Farewell Email Screenshot-sm 703

With so many people losing their jobs, the farewell email, letting colleagues and contacts know where you are moving and how you can be reached, has become common. Writing a really good one, whether it be funny, sad or just plain mad is an art form. Chris Kula, a receptionist at a New York engineering firm, wrote: "For nearly as long as I've worked here, I've hoped that I might one day leave this company. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support." In May, lawyer Shinyung Oh was let go from the San Francisco branch of the Paul Hastings law firm six days after losing a baby. "If this response seems particularly emotional," she wrote to the partners, "perhaps an associate's emotional vulnerability after a recent miscarriage is a factor you should consider the next time you fire or lay someone off. It shows startlingly poor judgment and management skills — and cowardice — on your parts." Let's hear the best and worst goodbye emails you've seen.
