And yeah I remember Columbia House, had a membership at one point. DRM has always been a pain on Linux which is why I just pirate material for consumption there. NetFlix was for my Xbox and it worked fantastic there.

True but they admit the name was conceived around the Internet.

“We named our company Netflix in 1998 because we believed Internet-based movie rental represented the future, first as a means of improving service and selection, and then as a means of movie delivery,” https://www.vdocipher.com/blog...

It really is sad, before they were infected with the woke virus NetFlix was a really smart company. Yeah they started out mailing DVDs but they called themselves NET-Flix for a reason, they knew streaming was the future. And this was while Blockbuster still existed. Their DVD distribution centers were models of efficiency with great thought put in for the workers.

Of course it was only a matter of time before the studios saw the success Netflix had and then it was all over. Netflix was always at the mercy of the studios. And while they did produce some great series by that time the leadership had fallen apart the NetFlix as we knew it was already dead. Having too much data about what your viewers are watching can be a bad thing if you aren't careful and bad mistakes were made.

Then cuties-gate happened and I knew it was time to cancel my subscription. NetFlix bad mistakes started to make sense as it was clear they weren't the company they once was. https://www.washingtonpost.com...

Which is exactly what they want you to think. "Oh look heart attacks were always on the rise, nothing to do with experimental mRNA shots rushed through with fully granted immunity" Show me a study showing the same thing that was release BEFORE the covid tyranny. Then maybe it can be trusted. I say maybe, because they planned this whole thing so I wouldn't put it past them to have their alibi already lined up.

Turns out Mint was very easy to social engineer your phone number away. Most people were using SMS authentication. So within hours (and without you knowing anything was wrong) they would port the eSim then empty your coinbase account. Mint finally added 2factor for customer service but only works if people turn it on.
