Keep in mind that some other dudes want you to pay a recurrent monthly fee for playing on their servers. All Blizzard titles provide free access to battle.net and a replayability that I have yet to find in other games. I have had played SC 1 for several years before SC 2 came out. I think I have good zerg-bang for my protoss-bucks.

The context you're missing is that the US political system is a train wreck where even the decision to move Obama's speech to an indoor venue to avoid looming thunder storms is turned into a political cudgel by partisan hacks on the other side.

We had elections in Quebec, Canada last week. There was an attempt to kill the newly-elected Prime Minister.

Submission + - Gunman kills 1, wound another, and set fire at rally for new Quebec premier (www.cbc.ca)

vawarayer writes: Mrs. Pauline Marois, elected tonight as the new Premier of Quebec, was giving her rally speech when a heavily armed man entered through the back door of the Metropolis and started shooting, killing one person and wounding another. The gunman then exited and set fire to the door he just entered.

Mrs Marois is not injured. The suspect has been arrested.
