If you really need the best of both worlds, this is why plug-in hybrids are a thing.
That's just a "both worlds" compromise. The best would be to own a BEV and ICE, which I expect is common.

What appears to replace it:
Don’t repurpose or distribute output from our services to harm others – for example, don’t share output from our services to defraud, scam, spam, mislead, bully, harass, defame, discriminate based on protected attributes, sexualize children, or promote violence, hatred or the suffering of others.
Also note the change from banning generation to banning repurposing and distribution/sharing.

Also, on the mobile version of the website, they disabled being able to open anything in a new tab - posts, photos, or links. This also killed how I liked to browse, which is to open the posts in interested in in new tabs until I'm finished scrolling, then look at the posts.
I believe Nextdoor did this exact same thing months ago, and my use of the site dropped to near zero (because I browse the same way you do). Does anyone know how to defeat it?
It is likely to be a referendum on the Falepili (“good neighborliness”) Union treaty with Australia, which offered Tuvaluans visas and about $11 million for coastal restoration, as well as a pledge to assist Tuvalu in case of a natural disaster, pandemic or military aggression.
But it comes with a catch: Canberra must agree before Tuvalu inks a security or defense deal with any other country.
That clause is widely seen as an effort to lock out China, which has raised alarms in the West with its growing presence in the South Pacific, especially in the Solomon Islands, where Beijing secured diplomatic recognition in 2019 and struck a security agreement last year.
Announcing the agreement with Natano last month, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Australia would need to approve any security or defense deal Tuvalu struck with another “state or entity” in order to “allow for effective operation of Australia’s security guarantee.” Some analysts see that as an attempt to avoid a repeat of the Solomon Islands, where both Chinese and Australian police are now deployed.

A Reuters report from 2020 detailed how the drugstore chain had secretly introduced facial recognition systems across some 200 U.S. stores over an eight-year period starting in 2012, with "largely lower-income, non-white neighborhoods" serving as the technology testbed.
Or maybe they chose stores with high shoplifting rates, i.e. something relevant to their goal instead of relevant to a ideological propagandist at Reuters.
"It appears that (Jacob) exercised exceptionally poor judgment in committing this offense," prosecutors said in the release. "(Jacob) most likely committed this offense to generate social media and news coverage for himself and to obtain financial gain. Nevertheless, this type of 'daredevil' conduct cannot be tolerated."
I'm glad the prosecutors didn't let Jacob's noble goals cloud their judgement.
