I never said Trump was any less of a stooge. If anything he's a stooge for his own corporation...

Candidate likability is relevant, but it's not the sole factor. There are plenty of people I'd have a beer with that I don't want running the country, but there aren't any people I want running the country that I wouldn't be willing to have a beer with.

The margin of victory in every single state was greater than the total 3rd party votes. Even if everyone who voted for Stein or Johnson had switched and voted for Hillary, she still would have gotten the same number of electoral votes.

Nevermind that you don't pay attention to actual vote results, but your premise is still flawed. The people who deserve blame for Trump are Trump voters, not the voters that decided not to vote for Hillary. Hillary is to blame for not appealing to more voters and the Democratic Party is to blame for their ridiculous primary process that makes it impossible for their candidates to appeal to anyone other than the extreme voters in their own party. (Note that the Republican Primary process did the exact same thing).

This is my problem with 3D crap. My eyes get very upset when they can't focus on a blurry background in 3D videos. They also get upset changing focal distance when the subject moves in or out but the focal distance isn't changing. If I'm stuck with 3D video content (I'm looking at you rides at Universal) I go without the glasses and just deal with blurry video that doesn't make my eyes hurt.

I mean, it totally makes sense that a spaceship would need an antenna located off the ship to give it the ability to fly up. I mean, how else could they fly up? What are you stupid? How could shields work in an atmosphere? Just because that was never a thing in the previous 10 movies doesn't mean it wasn't always the case... Light speed skipping? Didn't Han say in the first damn movie that you couldn't just hyperspace jump without doing tons of calculations ahead of time? Now you can just do it willy nilly including into planets' atmospheres and nevermind that tracking through lightspeed was invented to be difficult and rare in the previous stupid movie, now tie fighters (which have never been able to jump to hyperspace before) can do it repeatedly?

It's the supposed end to a fricking movie series in a 40 year long franchise. Why would you add new bullshit that contradicts the previously established stuff?

I would argue that The Force Awakens destroyed everything that happened in the Original Trilogy and ROS just made it worse.

In TFA, the New Republic essentially failed and a new empire (First Order) filled in the same space terrorizing the galaxy. Han turned out to be a deadbeat dad and husband who abandoned them when shit got hard. Luke abandoned the galaxy with little to no explanation. Leia is still leading a resistance/rebellion into her elderly years because apparently few young people have taken up the fight. And a new big bad apparent Sith is now going to destroy planets with a giant superweapon. So the big happy ending at the end of Episode 6 is ruined because they really didn't make the galaxy better after all.

The Last Jedi makes that story worse because it turns Luke into a shittier character, it makes it seem like the entire Galaxy doesn't even care anymore, and it makes the First Order oddly more powerful, but somehow less competent.

And the new ROS just shits on everything by making the Emperor never defeated at all. And instead of the master of working to gain power behind the scenes, now he's extremely stupid by announcing to the galaxy he's back before he has his fleet deployed. Nevermind the ridiculousness of a giant fleet of planet destroying Star Destroyers not being able to fly without some other antenna directing them or shields not working in an atmosphere...

The last movie in a 9 movie series left way too many questions that are just stupid to not explain. Was Palpatine against the First Order? Was he controlling them? Was his fleet going to combine with theirs? Who built this fleet of hundreds if not thousands of giant ships and who is manning them and keeping them supplied in secret for 30 years? Who the hell did Palpatine screw to produce children, nevermind grandchildren? What happened to the force sensitive kid with the broom? Wait, so Force Ghosts can interact with real world physical objects now? Seems like that might have been useful in the past... The Force can now heal wounds? Again, seems like that might have been useful. Oh, the Force can now stop literal starships in their tracks either just by Force Pulling or Force Lightning that disables their power? Seems like the Emperor might have used that to stop the Rebel Fleet in Episode 6... Or maybe forget the stupidity of not shooting it, Darth Vader could have used that power to grab the escape pod from Episode 4 instead of letting it get away. So many new Force abilities that break the previous movies for absolutely no payoff.

That's what really grinds my gears about this whole situation. The horrible thing Trump did that was the cause of the "Quid Pro Quo" was refusing to give foreign people guns to kill other foreign people.

To me, the part of this whole story that betrays our country is that Ukraine ended up getting the US weapons after all.
