I'm not sure why you in this context say that it's "far better" to eat more fruit and vegetables - there's only so much you can gain from eating more fruit and vegetables compared to consuming something naturally rich in this or that compound with an established enhancing effect - for example drinking coffee for caffeine, or tea for theanine, both with a medically, empirically proven effects - or consuming a refined amount of that compound.
