Thank you for the informative comment! France's and Vietnam's roles in this are quite interesting. I found some links that go into more detail:

As for your comment regarding BTC dying, seems to be the opposite is happening if anything. As a store of value, it's the best thing going and is currently on track to achieve the S2F and S2FX predictions. As a currency, it will be no more of a failure than gold was or is. Of course only time will tell.

In the meantime, I'd hold onto a single bitcoin and see where it goes just for fun. You never know... :)

Cheers!

Good point. I am a huge fan of the old Godzilla movies. But this new one has him looking like a giant pregnant/fat dinosaur version. The old one I grew up on was badass, but was likeable and could be friendly looking. He had character. "Someone" I could root for. I get no such vibe from the new trailer. So no interest, especially as I've been let down by all the movies from recent decades. sigh.

How much did this cost Delta? Both directly and indirectly.

How much will preventing this single point of failure cost?

Bzzt wrong. The managers took the cold temps into account, and ignored the pleas of their engineers to delay the launch because previous damage sustained from temps that were not even as extreme on that day.

There is risk, and then there is stupidity/negligent manslaughter. Thiokol management should have been put in prison and ruined.
