Whether it's my phone or Google, I've always been astounded by the number of times my location history shows me "being at" a neighborhood down the street from my house. We're talking 1/3 of a mile location error.

Yep. I'd hate to see if printf was documented today:

int printf(char *format,...)

Description: Prints as specified by format.

Example: printf("Hello World!");

I've seen too many examples of "using" an API that are such primitive toys they might as well not exist. At least with open source you can figure out how the API ought to be used.

The Respondus Lockdown browser is unusable.
When launched it wants you to terminate most other software on your computer.
Once launched your computer is full screen single app.
You can't paste, you can't access anything else.
You better have memorized not only the URL you need to go to, but your username and password.
Did I mention that it only runs with admin rights?
When you google around you find plenty of IT types trying to figure out how to use this PoS without destroying their computer security policies.

The road and sidewalk do not typically belong to the property that they front. You can easily view the approximate property lines at maps.google.com and see that public roads reside in their own piece of property. In my area the side roads are much smaller than the width of the roadway (which is of some standard width), so for my property the property line is actually some 10 feet back from the edge of the pavement. I have a fence at this line, and could have erected one closer to the road only with the town's permission. This is why people are sometimes surprised when the town decides to widen the road, chop down trees, remove walls, and they discover they have no recourse.

Um, no. Those "essential" employees who've been forced to work without a paycheck are entitled automatically. Everyone furloughed is at risk of never seeing a dime for the time that they expected to be working but weren't. No government shutdown has ever led to employees missing out on their paychecks but it wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't another trumpian first.

Hey today I see all this crap online about this website called "www.equifaxsecurity2017.com", it supposedly has something to do with the company / website equifax.com but it sure doesn't look like it to me. Looks like it might be a phishing site so I think I should run a search and see what people are saying about it...

URL detection is "pretty reliable" ?
Great. Maybe.

Reading my mind?
Definitely not.
