nk497 writes "A security researcher has said the Zeus botnet send out a Kill Operating System command to a hundred thousand PCs it controls in Poland and Spain. Security expert Jozsef Gegeny said it could be a stalling tactic to allow the cyber criminals more time to move money around, while BT's security chief Bruce Schneier suggested it was a sign the "botnet wars" were heating up. He said: "Botnet designers would rather destroy their networks than have them fall into 'enemy' hands.""
