Croisan writes "Linux users are much too serious about defending their favorite operating system. Let's face it: Linux rules the cloud, most CIOs love it, developers swear by it. Only consumers remain unconvinced. Still, with all that success, Linux true believers refuse to smile. They are unable to crack a joke about their beloved OS. One pathetic online Linux joke has the punchline "...and Linux Torvalds is greatest programmer in the universe." That may be true, but it isn't funny. At all. At least Windows users and even Microsoft employees are grown up enough to crack jokes about their operating system."
