iamapizza (1312801) writes "Eclipses have played a major role in human history ever since we have held them in deep suspicion and known them to be the work of evil forces. So much was the fear of eclipses that they had the power to change the course of history. This article takes a look at some of the most important eclipses and what their effect was on the the people and events surrounding it. Some of the stories include how an eclipse saved Christopher Columbus' life, how the Middle Ages ended and Einstein's eclipse."
