RockWolf writes "The Mars Phoenix Lander has landed. It was confirmed by radio signals received at 4:53 PDT that the lander successfully touched down fifteen minutes earlier, and stable communication was set up for one minute after landing while the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter was in line-of-sight. Solar panel opening is scheduled for any minute now — more details are at the University of Phoenix LPL Homepage and the live NASA TV Webcast"
