Michael Larabel writes "CodeWeavers has announced today the release of CrossOver Games. CrossOver Games is similar to their CrossOver Office product and based upon WINE, but is designed specifically for gaming and will be updated more often than their office version. CrossOver Games has been released for both Linux and Mac OS X at a cost of $39.95 USD. Phoronix.com has taken a brief look at CrossOver Games with Ubuntu 8.04 and have provided initial benchmarks comparing it to WINE 0.9.58 and Microsoft Windows Vista."
