"We were watching shipments of SFP+ components for 10GbE in the market but simply couldn't account for their end destination — sort of an optical component dark matter problem.", Andrew Schmitt writes, of their reasoning for their conclusion. The blog speculates that start-up Arastra may be involved with Google in some way. Might Google help drive adoption of a simplified 10GigE standard?"
