The breakthrough awards feature 10 cutting-edge projects and eight bold ideas. Among the winners are Amory Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute for his work on sustainability and efficiency, Jeff Han for the hands-on computer, Hod Lipson and the Make-Anything Machine and Shawn Frayne for the non-turbine wind alternative."
