DrEldarion writes "Continuing the trend of adding much-desired features through firmware updates, Sony has released firmware version 1.8 for the Playstation 3. This version adds, among other things, upscaling for DVDs and PS2/PS1 games, media streaming support, and Blu-ray downscaling to 720p."
