mattydread23 writes: Multi-factor authentication systems have been around for the past couple of decades, typically in the form of smart cards, but they're expensive and not particularly effective, as they require users to take an extra step. But Bluetooth LE could provide a solution: Imagine users pairing their smartphone with another device, such as a wearable or smartwatch, then adding a passcode. Writer Ryan Faas explores some early efforts in this space.
