Submission + - Eric Schmidt Shoots Down Amazon Drone Business Model Over Privacy Concerns (cnn.com)

girlintrainingpants writes: Eric Schmidt, founder of Google and distant cousin of Jeff Bezos, the Amazon.com founder, has decried that Amazon's tactic for delivering Amazon.com packages via airborne "drones" is a flagrant invasion of privacy and wants it to stop. Schmidt distances himself from Bezos and recently said, "The Google policy on a lot of things is to get right up to the creepy line and not cross it." One wonders if Schmidt is trying to distance himself from Amazon.com with his own marketing hype or if we will soon be seeing Amazon.com drones delivering drones.
