+ - LG is spying on their Smart TV users->

Submitted by Freggy
Freggy (825249) writes "An anonymous blogger found out that his new LG Smart tv was spying on him. Using a packet sniffer on his router, he discovered that the television sends the channels being wachted every time when switching channels. Also when watching movies stored on a USB disk connected to the television set, the complete file name being watched and sometimes all file names in the directory, were transferred to LG servers. When asked about this, LG just referred to the T&Cs of the device and did not give any other comment."
