Steve Ballmer has an amazing grasp of detail and complexity, but as a new Wall Street Journal interview reveals, he wasn't moving fast enough for the board of directors, and finally realized he had to step down. Now, Microsoft needs a new leader that echoes the qualities of the products usurping Microsoft's decades-long dominance.
