Submitted by rjmarvin
rjmarvin (3001897) writes "A leaked internal email sent by Google researcher Mark Miller in 2010 reveals a two-pronged strategy http://sdt.bz/65357 to replace the "fundamentally flawed" JavaScript with Google's own programming language, Google Dash, commonly known now as Dart https://www.dartlang.org/. The lengthy email https://gist.github.com/paulmillr/1208618 lays out Google's goal of trying to improve JavaScript, while ultimately supplanting it with Dash as "the lingua franca of Web development on the open Web platform.”"
