GeekyKhan writes: 3D printers are great but here's a completely new type of machine that opens up all kinds of doors when it comes to desktop fabrication. Created by Brooklyn-based design consultancy Pensa, the DIWire Bender is the world's first desktop CNC wire bender of its kind, and is capable of translating 2D computer line drawings into bent wire shapes that can be assembled into just about anything.
