+ - Indian outsourcing company settles lawsuit of visa fraud->

Submitted by techfilz
techfilz (1881458) writes "A whistleblower working for Infosys in the United States has been vindicated after the Indian outsourcing company agreed to pay a settlement of $34 Million in a federal civil lawsuit. Court documents alleged that Infosys were circumventing higher payments for H-1B working visas by applying for cheaper business visas intended for meetings and visits. Infosys compiled handy guides for workers with advice like 'Do not mention activities like implementation, design and testing, consulting, etc. which sound like work' ."
