mattydread23 (2793761) writes "Windows RT and Surface have not exactly taken the world by storm. The products are not perfect. But people don't make buying decisions about personal electronics just on rational grounds. You need to sell to them. That's where Microsoft has really fallen down. But Windows RT and Microsoft hardware are important parts of the future of Windows — and Microsoft — so they're not going away. Mary Branscombe explains why she's still excited about Microsoft's tablets — present and future."
