+ - Artificial Human Ear Grown Using Animal Tissues->

Submitted by minty3
minty3 (2942557) writes "The artificial ear, which has the same flexibility as a human one, was created using a titanium wire frame that took the 3D shape of a real human ear. Once full grown, the artificial ear was implanted into rat and mice with compromised immune systems. In humans, the technique would have to be altered using stem cells taken from cartilage samples."
