mask.of.sanity (1228908) writes "Attackers have begun exploiting a major Android vulnerability that allows them to take over a victim's phone without altering the digital signature of a targeted app. The attacks targeted Chinese-speaking Android users and exploited the master key flaw found by researchers earlier this month that affected most Android phones released in the last four years."

  • Look, this isn't a real security vulnerability because it can't alter the Linux kernel on your droid. All it can do is log your key strokes, steal your passwords, and send your credit card and other personal information to Russia. Since that doesn't constitute a kernel-level breach, it's not a security hole and Linux is completely and utterly secure.
