McGruber (1417641) writes "The Wall Street Journal's website has the news (http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/07/03/doug-engelbart-computing-pioneer-passes-away-at-88) that Doug Engelbart (wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Engelbart), has died. He was 88.

In 1970, Englebart received a US Patent for "computer mouse" (http://www.google.com/patents/US3541541)."
